Sea Fever is North Norfolk’s festival of poetry and prose. It aims to celebrate all forms of the written word inspired by this exceptional coastline; and to bring to the coast writers with national reputations.

 

Rooted as the festival was in Poetry-next-the-Sea,  for some, we hoped Sea Fever would be an old friend in a new guise.

For others, we hoped it would be a stranger whose acquaintance would be worth cultivating. In 2022, with four years and five festivals under our belt, it seems to be proving that way. 

 

Sea Fever is an opportunity not only to see and hear some splendid speakers, but to meet others who share a passion for that extraordinarily versatile and expressive medium, the English language.
